John is the founder and Director of Physiophix. He is a highly experienced physiotherapist and enjoys treating acute and chronic neck and back, shoulder pain and work-related injuries. John uses a wide variety of treatment techniques including Dry Needling Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques. Kinesio Taping, Myofascial Releases, Mulligans, McKenzie, Pilates and much more.
John has a special interest in the treatment of vertigo and dizziness.
John works from Monday to Friday.
Aaron joined the Physiophix team in January 2019. He graduated with a Masters Physiotherapy degree in 2016 and has worked in Private Practice since. Aaron has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of injuries associated with power lifting. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys going to the gym, riding his motorbike and playing soccer.
Josh is our ESSA accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and works at both the Toukley and Warnervale clinics from Monday to Thursday. Josh graduated from Newcastle University in 2011 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science, following this he completed a Masters in Exercise Physiology from Charles Sturt University in 2014.
Josh assesses and prescribes exercise programs for people with complex and chronic conditions including: -
- Cardiac and respiratory disease
- Parkinson's Disease
- Workplace rehabilitation
- NDIS clients
Josh is passionate about introducing people to exercises that they previously thought would be impossible to do.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys playing soccer.
Kim Hobson - Allied Health Assistant
Kim has been working at Physiophix since March 2019 and works on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Kim has a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant and is a qualified Massage Therapist. Before joining the team at Physiophix, Kim worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant in the Physiotherapy Department at Wyong Hospital for 15 years. During this time she gained a lot of experience treating various conditions including stroke; amputees; brain injuries; and knee and hip replacements. Kim has vast experience in Hydrotherapy having run numerous classes at Wyong Hospital. Kim is now using her experience at Physiophix where she predominantly treats patients under the NDIS scheme. In her free time, Kim enjoys going to the beach, walking and spending time with her family.
