John Ruzicka
Physiotherapist, Director

John is the founder and Director of Physiophix. He is a highly experienced physiotherapist and enjoys treating acute and chronic neck and back, and shoulder pain and work-related injuries. John uses various treatment techniques, including Dry Needling Therapy and Muscle Energy Techniques. Kinesio Taping, Myofascial Releases, Mulligans, McKenzie, Pilates and much more.
John has a special interest in the treatment of vertigo and dizziness.
John works from Monday to Friday.
Daniel Nichols
Physiotherapist

Daniel graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honours. Daniel has a keen interest in managing knees, and low back pain and utilising evidence-based therapies with a strong background in exercise prescription.
In addition to his Physiotherapy, Daniel has completed a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with honours and worked at a water treatment plant before coming over to physiotherapy.
Outside the practice, Daniel keeps active by mountain biking and playing tennis.
Georgia Muirhead
Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Georgia is an ESSA accredited Exercise Physiologist working at Physiophix on Thursdays and Fridays. Georgia has a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science from Australian Catholic University and graduated from a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology from Charles Sturt University in 2021.
Georgia designs and delivers safe and effective exercise interventions for people of all ages living with a range of conditions such as:
- Post op rehabilitation
- Diabetes mellitus
- Osteo arthritis
- Cardiac and respiratory disease
- Chronic injuries
- Disabilities
Kim Hobson
Allied Health Assistant
Kim has been working at Physiophix since March 2019 and works on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Kim has a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant and is a qualified Massage Therapist. Before joining the team at Physiophix, Kim worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant in the Physiotherapy Department at Wyong Hospital for 15 years. During this time, she gained a lot of experience treating various conditions, including stroke; amputees, brain injuries; and knee and hip replacements. Kim has vast experience in Hydrotherapy, having run numerous classes at Wyong Hospital. Kim is now using her experience at Physiophix, where she predominantly treats patients under the NDIS scheme. In her free time, Kim enjoys going to the beach, walking and spending time with her family.
